STUDIES & TRAINING

 

KS has a Bachelor degree in Philosophy, Education and Psychology coupled with a UK-awarded QTS certification. She has taken classes for Web Development and Team Leader/Animator skills. She is trained in Safeguarding Level 3, ABA, PECS Level 1, Online Safety for Children, Prevent, Autism in Schools, Dyslexia and other learning difficulties and holds a Pediatric First Aid certificate. Training is updated accordingly when needed and continuous professional development is a priority when it comes to working with children. We are more than happy to hear your suggestions on new fields of study that could make our services better for your needs.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

 

KS is an experienced educator and artist with a great interest in learning difficulties and personalised learning. She started in 2006 as a private tutor and by 2010 she could lead small teams for learning through play. In 2013 she started a career as a performing artist and produced shows for children. Since 2017 she  worked in the SEN departments of both primary and secondary UK schools. She is a master puppet builder and loves recycling  materials through her projects. She is a ventriloquist recognised both in Greece and USA and has received commendation awards for show production, story telling and illustration. Last, she is an advocate for human rights, conservation and permaculture.
